Better Ambiance Texture Pack Intro

The goal is to maintain Terraria’s original beauty while giving it new life.

This texture pack was first thought to be only a “color-correction” texture pack, but it evolved into something more.

It started by changing the gloomy hue of the sky, then concentrated on adding more colour variety, which added a LOT more depth, better-matching background objects and clouds than vanilla, and creating a brighter, more vivid atmosphere at daytime in general after many tinkering.

The idea to keep the original look of the ground, but make it more interesting. The creater added more color variation, and more variation in the ground itself.

How to install Better ambiance texture pack for Terraria steam version?

To use this texture pack, first you should backup “water_0.xnb” file as it will get replaced. You can find this file C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Terraria\Content\Images\Misc or you can use search function of PC if you have different location on your hard drive.

Other than that there is not further steps require. It will be installed as other standard pack you use before. Do not forget to Turn on “experimental features” option on the main menu or in .json file

How to install Better ambiance texture pack for Terraria MOD version?

If you are using tModLoader for Terraria then you have to follow different steps to install better ambiance texture pack:

1. Turn on “experimental features” option on the main menu or in .json file
2. In second step you should find your Terraria Game folder on your PC.
3. It should be under \My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\TexturePacks
4. Then place the “Texture Pack.zip there
5. Restart your game and your are good to go.
